UK working paper on Decision-making in a future BTWC intersessional work programme

9th October 2011

In a paper submitted to the BWC, the UK raised the issue of decision-making in a future BTWC intersessional work programme. The paper suggests that the Seventh Review Conference could “delegate appropriate levels of decision-making to intersessional meetings, while major issues would still need to be referred to a Review Conference for decision.” The paper proceeds to elaborate upon the role of “MXP Task Groups” in taking limited decisions in the form of “recommendations to the MSP and procedural matters relating to the Task Groups”.

The Decision making paper submitted by the UK is available from the UNOG website
