Examining the role of Science and Technology reviews in the Biological Weapons Convention
German Federal Foreign Office hosted a seminar in Berlin on the Outlook and Perspectives for the BTWC Seventh Review Conference, between the 9th and 10th June 2011. Of particular note was a presentation by Richard Lennane, Head of the Convention’s Implementation Support Unit (ISU), proposed a future intersessional process which consisted of annual meetings with a number of working groups, one of which covered the topic of “Science, technology and outreach”.
