Examining the role of Science and Technology reviews in the Biological Weapons Convention
Caitríona McLeish, Kai ilchmann and James Revill attended the Preparatory Committee of the Seventh Review Conference at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. This was an important milestone in our project on science and technology reviews and constituted part of the data gathering process through interviews. It also allowed the opportunity to present a number of policy focused briefing notes on different technologies, as well as a historical reminder of the number of proposals already made by States Parties to do “something” in relation to the process of reviewing science and technology under the BTWC.
